Industry and Energy Committee-Chamber of Commerce/ East-chaired by the executive board member Mr. Ibrahim Bin Mohammed Al-Al-Shaikh has received the NPA delegates. The NPA team has presented an overview of the NPA’s role and services provided. The meeting took place at the Chamber’s Dammam main office on 02/11/19.
The meeting was attended by Mr. Hussein Nabil Hanbazaza NPA’s ED,Mr. Ahmed Al-Ghamdi NPA’s Training and Development Manager and other experts. Ways of strengthening cooperation-in the fields of energy and industry- between the Chamber and the NPA were discussed. Mr. Al-Shaikh has reiterated that business sector is working with all concerned parties in order to accomplish the Kingdom’s 2030 vision objectives pertaining to energy and renewables.
It’s worth noting that the NPA is an independent, not-for-profit entity that has been established under the auspices of and a unique partnership with big energy companies and organizations such as:
Saudi Aramco, Saudi Electricity Company, TVTC, KFUPM, together with General Electric, Siemens, Schneider, Marafeq, Al-Shareef Holding, and Sea Water Desalination Organization.
HADAF and The Colleges of Excellence provide financial support as well.
The first batch of students have started their training at the NPA in September 2018.
